Mia Ferrell RCST®

Mia's connection with the healing arts began as a child and inspired her to practice as an LMT from 1996 through 2006. Having begun the study of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to aid in her personal healing journey, her completion of the 700hr Certification Training has beautifully transformed into offering this non-invasive healing modality to the community. Mia's intention as a practitioner is one of gentle listening and witnessing.

Biodynamic approach to Craniosacral Therapy administers gentle-touch therapy that works with the wholeness of our being and the intrinsic forces of health within the body. The body’s own intelligence is gently welcomed to down-regulate in order to resource its natural state of innate wholeness.

I am a graduate from RCC Massage School in Grants Pass. I utilize my full attention and healing touch with the goal of finding a deep space of relaxation where clients are able to move through pain and discomfort and experience profound healing and harmony within their body. Being an avid runner, hiker, bicyclist, as well as having held physically demanding jobs - and not without injury - I have a firm understanding of the ways in which physical limitations and pain can cause depression, sadness, and limiting beliefs. My goal with each client is to find the release needed to regain the individual's natural state of mobility and wellness. I have training in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, and I am always expanding my knowledge base to be able to provide the highest quality service for every person I treat.

Susan Shapiro, Reflexologist and Reiki Master

Susan Shapiro began her love of Reflexology at the age of 14 after receiving her first book on the topic from her Mother, “Stories the Feel Can Tell,” by renowned Reflexologist Eunice Ingram who pioneered the field in the 1930s. This informed her lifelong interest in healing and wholeness and lead to studies in massage including Shiatsu, Jin Shin Do, Reiki; Aromatherapy; nutrition; and meditation. Susan's approach to Reflexology is intuitive yet grounded in a firm grasp of the map or "zones" of your body reflected in your feet and hands. The areas calling for attention guide her focus. Clients have reported feeling immense support and refreshment from their Reflexology sessions.

Susan’s love of Reiki began in 2000 when she received her first Reiki I attunement and began incorporating Reiki into her work with clients, experiencing the power and grace of this gentle yet profound healing art. Rei means Universal and Ki means the vital life force energy that flows through and animates all that is living. Reiki contains an unconditional love and an innate intelligence that quietly assists us. Whether your getting Reiki for stress or pain reduction, to improve your mood, increase energy, or any other reason, Reiki can be a wonderful addition to your program of wellness. Sessions will leave you feeling grounded and provide you what most serves your healing process.
