Qigong For Shifting Seasons


Hello Qigong Enthusiasts!

The shift to Autumn is upon us, and now is a great time to begin adjusting our Qigong practice to sync with this transition. I am teaching Qigong classes the next 4 Wednesday evenings, September 20th, 27th, and October 4th and 11th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. These classes will help calm the fire of Summertime and begin cultivating the Earth and Water elements of the Fall and Winter.


These sessions will be fun and uplifting. A main theme of this series will be, "Vibration Training." Vibration training is one of the most simple and effective ways to safely release tension, promote energy circulation, and deepen breathing.

Another main practice in theses sessions will be, "Smart Moves," which help you move your entire body in a fashion that circulates energy optimally through your meridian system. In addition to Vibration Training and Smart Moves, we will practice breathing techniques and special postures that develop your core strength and make your spinal column more flexible and resilient.

I hope you can use this series of classes to re-invigorate your personal qigong practice, or begin one for the first time. These sessions are open to all, and they are a great way for you to learn about the other opportunities for qigong instruction that we offer at Community Acupuncture + Natural Health.
