We're celebrating the Lunar New Year with astrology readings, music and delicious local food, and we'd love for you and your family to join us!
On Saturday, February 17,Tish McFadden will be leading a family oriented sing-a-long at 4:00pm. Tish is a local musician, music teacher and performer, and she's taking requests for songs you'd like to sing with your family and community to celebrate the New Year. To kick off the event, Louisa Suta, a local acupuncturist and Chinese astrologer, will give an insightful lecture on the meaning behind, "The Year of the Dog," 2018. Every participant will receive informative literature about the coming New Year and its relevance for each of the 12 animal signs of the Chinese Zodiac. Louisa's lecture begins at 2:00pm, and our doors open for the event at 1:30pm.
Greenleaf restaurant will be providing delicious vegetarian appetizers after the astrology lecture, and scrumptious desserts after the sing-a-long.
This is a family friendly event! Tickets are only $15, and CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER ARE FREE!
