Weekly Wellness Tips

Stress and overwhelm can short circuit our productivity and negatively influence our mood and emotional well being. Fortunately, pure therapeutic grade essential oils offer a way to support our ability to weather life’s storms. Here are 3 ways you can use essential oils when you experience stressful and uncertain times:

1. Aromatically Diffuse oil blends that are uplifting and/or calming. One of my favorites is

doTERRA Elevation, a Joyful Blend. This oil has a sweet, refreshing aroma consisting of

citrus and florals that create an atmosphere that is light, positive and revitalizing.

2. Topically Our skin is our body’s largest organ. Diluting essential oils in a carrier oil like

Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO) is a great way to enjoy the benefits of essential oils. As

part of my daily wellness routine, I apply 2-3 drops of doTERRA Balance to the bottoms

of my feet each morning before going to work. This oil blend includes frankincense, blue

tansy, blue chamomile, spruce and Ho Wood oil. Together they create a warm woody

scent that is grounding and refreshing. This ritual helps me weather life’s storms with greater poise and grace.

3. Internally Some oils can be taken internally. DoTERRA’s oil infused supplement, Adaptiv, includes a proprietary blend of oils that are designed to help us adapt to stress. On days that I struggle to keep my calm due to feelings of overwhelm about a looming deadline or presentation, Adaptiv helps to relax my mind and body.
